Jan Payne is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance. Her musical career has included soloist positions at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood; Minister of Music at First Christian Church of Santa Ana; Professor of Voice at Biola University and Azusa Pacific University

Jan's first book, Rejoice in the Lamb, is a children's picture book designed to teach gently and winsomely about creation care and how all creatures glorify God by doing and being what He designed them for.

Jan is in the final edit of her next manuscript, before sending out query letters to agents and publishers.

She hails from Indonesia, and is currently living and studying in Shanghai.
